- Size: Kayak sizes varied between three and nine meters in length,
were 38 to 82 centimeters across, and 17 to 39 centimeters in depth.
- Materials: Wood framework held together by wood or bone pegs, and
rawhide lashings. Skins, usually seal skins, with all the hair scraped
from them covered the frame, sewn in place by braided sinew.
