Mice
In Redwall
- Alignment: Good
- Nicknames: None
- Appearance: Mice are smaller than most creatures excepting
shrews and perhaps voles. Like all Redwallers, they're bipedal and
wear clothes. Mousemaids are often described as attractive, but rarely
vain. Weapons tend to be small, when mice do carry weapons-
many mice are relatively peaceful, except for the occasional warrior.
- Diet: Mice tend to eat anything that other goodbeasts eat.
- Habitat: Mice normally live in large groups, in secure
buildings. They are found in abbeys such as Loamhedge and Redwall, but
rarely anywhere else.
- Typical Personality: Mice seem to have good leadership skills, however, as
most of the Abbesses and Abbots in the Redwall series have been mice - as
have many of the Redwall Champions. Most are rather sensible and
clever, though excitable, and tend to be very dedicated to whatever cause
they belong to. Mice generally have a strong sense of morals.
- Habits: Mice tend to speak with a common woodland accent, sometimes
more cultured than the norm.
