A two-handed sword that is extremely heavy.
It weighed anywhere from 7 to 14 pounds (heavy for a sword) and was usually
around 66 inches long. Sometimes the blade would be straight; other
times, it would have a undulating blade (see far left picture).
- Use: "Zweihander" means
literally "two hands," and that's what it is. It was wielded with both
hands and made for slashing rather than thrusting.
