- Description:
A sword with a double-edged blade which had a
diamond-shaped cross section; the extreme curvature of these swords made them
nearly useless except for cuffing attacks.
- Use: The main purpose of the
shotel was to strike over an opponent's shield. It was very awkward for
normal combat, however.
