Bisento
- In Redwall: N/A
- Time Period: Feudal Japan
- Origin: Japan
- Description: The bisento is very heavy, large battlefield halberd,
reaching up to three feet in length.
- Use: The bisento's length and weight make it easy to knock down an
opponent with it, and smash through any armor that may be worn. It is also
used to take horses down on the battlefield. Body turns and a lot of footwork
are needed to aid the use of this weapon. It is used to ram and bludgeon
rather than cut and slash. As the bisento is extremely heavy,
it is not swung about with just the use of the hands but with the use of
skillful movement of the body
