Abbasi
- In Redwall: Unused in Redwall.
- Time Period: N/A
- Origin: India
- Description: The
abbasi is one of several Indian versions of the long sword. The single-edged
blade is
reinforced by extra strips of perforated metal on one side, both increasing
the damage it causes and lessening the chances that it will itself break
during battle.
- Use: The abbasi is a typical longsword, with one
slight advantage over other types: Due to being reinforced by the extra
metal strips, it is excellent at blocking crushing blows from a mace or
club, that would likely shatter another sword.
